Learn moreThis class is for anyone required to have an AED completion card or anyone that wants to learn the skills and techniques to operate an AED. In order to take this class you need to complete our Adult/Child CPR class or Adult/Child/Infant CPR class.
Class will cover the basic skills and knowledge needed to recognize a victim in need of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) device. Participants will also learn how to properly operate the AED device. Upon completion a CPR/ AED card valid for two years will be issued. Appointment for skills assessment will be available if needed
Skills assessment is available for those required to do so. Once you complete the online program, you will need to print out your completion card, and call us to make an appointment. When you come to the skills assessment appointment be sure to bring your completion card from the online training you have just completed. When you pass your skills assessment you will be issued a new completion card valid for two years.
Make sure you bring the print out of your completion card.
Viewing the video clips in the training program will show you exactly what you need to demonstrate.
You will need to demonstrate the steps of CPR for adult and/or child. Additionally, you will demonstrate the operation of the AED.
Once the skills have been demonstrated you will be issued a new completion card good for two years that will indicate you completed the skills assessment.
