Learn moreThis class is for anyone required to have a First Aid completion card. Or anyone that wants to learn the skills and techniques to provide basic first aid procedures.
This class teaches individuals how to identify and help control life threatening situations. The class will cover injury and illness assessments, signs and symptoms, and treatment for the following: allergic reaction, amputations, bleeding, cuts, burns, cold and heat emergencies, diabetes, drowning, fractures, head injuries, heart attack, poisoning, shock, seizures, stings, bites, stroke, ticks, Bloodborne pathogens, universal precautions, and more. Class includes a completion card valid for two years.
Skills assessment is available for those required to do so. Once you complete the online program, you will need to print out your completion card, and call us to make an appointment. When you come to the skills assessment appointment be sure to bring your completion card from the online training you have just completed. When you pass your skills assessment you will be issued a new completion card valid for two years.
Make sure you bring the print out of your completion card.
The skills you will have to demonstrate will be covered in the online training program.
Once the skills have been demonstrated you will be issued a new completion card good for two years that will indicate you completed the skills assessment.
