COVID-19 UPDATES 

Dear valued Customers,

 

At SAVE-A-LIFE EDUCATORS, the safety of our customers and independent contractors is our top priority every day. We are currently offering two training options for those who work in essential sectors and need a current CPR/AED and First-aid certificate to continue working. 

HOW TO PERFORM CPR DURING COVID19

 

OPTION 1: ON SITE TRAINING

-       These classes are held every Saturday.

-       Extra sanitation measures including:

-       Gloves will be provided to each student.

-       We will not be performing the “give breaths” portion of CPR. Simulation only. 

-       Washing hands before and after skills assessments.

-       Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes supplied.

-       Enhancing cleaning and disinfecting procedures of equipment and facility.

Option 2: ONLINE TRAINING AND BLENDED TRAINING 

 

The Blended Program includes the online training and a one on one 15-30 minute in person skills assessment appointment with one of our instructors. 

* It is the responsibly of each person to confirm with employer if online trainings are accepted for job position, employment requirements, licensing, boards, etc. NOT ALL INDUSTRIES ALLOW ONLINE TRAINING OR BLENDED TRAINING.

* PLEASE NOTE: Our online program is Save-A-Life Educators, Inc. program. Save-a-Life Educators online program is American Heart Association approved, but is not the AHA specific online program. If your job/licensing requires an AHA program, please contact our office so we can provide further information about this training.

To sign up for the online or blended program please follow the steps below:

- Click here for Online Classes we offer.

- Choose and Pay for the Online Class. 

- If your employer requires the hands on skills assessment: Once you have completed the Online Training please call or email us to set up an appointment time to complete your hands on skills assessment. You must bring a copy of your completion certificates to the hands on assessment. 

- The online skills assessment fee is $15.00. You will pay this at the time of your appointment. 


COVID extra measures for our in person skills assessment and are as follows: 

-       One on one appointments.

-       Gloves will be provided to each student.

-       We will not be performing the “give breaths” portion of CPR. Simulation only. 

-       Washing hands before and after skills assessments.

-       Enhancing cleaning and disinfecting procedures of equipment. 

-       Making sure any sick person stays home.
